Things He Says are words that stick, words that stab, words that haunt, words that hurt.
“Things” denotes more than words; things are ideas, tangible objects, indirect signifiers of direct signs. “He” doesn’t speak to or of a specific male, rather the singular male voice that communicates sexist microaggressions against the singular female. “Says” is in the present tense to represent the omnipresence of these “things.”
By sharing my own things and what they mean to women, I hope this blog will spread awareness for men when they say these things. This blog is also safe space for women to share their things he says.
